Request for Bids Small Works (One-Envelop Bidding Process)

Contract Title: Upgrading of bridges on the Auki-Dala section (North Road) (replacement of existing 2 log bridges and 1 steel truss bridge)

1.The Government of Solomon Islands has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Solomon Islands Roads and Aviation Project (SIRAP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Upgrading of bridging on the Auki-Dala section (North Road) (replacement of existin2 log bridges and 1 steel truss bridge).

2.The MID now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Upgrading of bridges on the Auki-Dala Section (North Road) (Replacement of existing 2 log bridges and 1 steel truss bridge).

3.The MID now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Upgrading of bridges on the Auki –Dala section (North Road) (replacement of existing 2 log bridges and 1 steel truss bridge).

4.Bidding will be conduct through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrower”August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation.

5.Interested eligible Bidders may request a free electronic copy of the RFB Document by contacting the SIRP Procurement at procurement@paipfsu.com

6.Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 1, 2021, at 10am Local Honiara time. Electric Bidding will be permitted.

7.Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below June 1,2021 at 11:05am Local Honiara time

8.Bidders may conduct a site visit at their own cost and convenience.

9.The Budget for this activity is USD 5.9 million.

10.All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.

11.Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulation requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
