The Solomon Islands Electricity Authority Trading as Solomon Power invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Fleet Support Officer.

The Fleet Support Officer primarily provides an administrative support function to the Fleet Team including assisting with Solomon power’s vehicle fleet. Provides administrative support in the management and coordination of the SP motor vehicle fleet and provides information/advice to both internal and external stakeholders.

Assists in smooth, safe, and efficient operation of SP fleet including damage/maintenance tracking and reporting, and vehicle cleaning.

It is a full-time role and the incumbent will ensure:

• Fleet function effectively managed

• Fleet management systems

• Time sheet ensured

• Industrial Relations effectively managed

• A healthy, safe, and OHS-compliant Solomon Power

• Environmental protection is prioritized at all times

• Organizational Values promoted and demonstrated at all times

Qualification: Preferred – DiplomaAutomotive – Trade qualification in Automotive Engineering

Experience:

• At least 5 years or more both in scheduling and Management/Administration in the technical role of fleet management

• Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft packages, especially word and excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills & strong, developed report-writing abilities

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong teamwork & interpersonal skills

• Strong stakeholder management & customer services skills
