The SIFF Competition Department is looking for suitable candidates to take up the vacant positions of National League coordinators for SIFF National sanction leagues and youth competitions as well as a Competition Manager for the senior men TSL league.

Those jobs are on a contractual basis for a minimum of ten (10) months and a maximum of 12 months pending the duration of each respective national league.


  • TSL Competition Manager
  • SWPL General Coordinator
  • Super Futsal League General Coordinator
  • Super Beach Soccer League General Coordinator
  • National Girls Youth League General Coordinator

The General Coordinator (“GC”) reports to the SIFF Competition Manager or SIFF Competition Director and is responsible for the daily management and implementation of his/her respective national league in line with the requirements provided under the appropriate league regulations provided by the SIFF Competition Department.

He/she is responsible for ensuring that the venue operates smoothly and in full compliance with the SIFF and OFC Guidelines.

The GC shall work very closely with the SIFF Competition Manager (SCM) for a successful organization and delivery of the match.

  • Operational Roles and Responsibilities:

The Operational Roles and Responsibilities of the GC consist of but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensuring match venue readiness
  • Ensuring the correct implementation of all concepts of the competition
  • Ensuring timely kick-off and after half-time
  • Providing the team with details on how the matches will be organized.
  • Acting as a liaison between teams, the Board, and the Competition Department
  • Ensuring the pitch corresponds to the guidelines.
  • Ensuring the dressing rooms are ready on match day.
  • Ensuring the match reports are completed properly (both COMET and FIFA forms)
  • Ensure that eligibility checks and required legal documentation such as birth cards, birth certificates, or passports are provided by Club Management during the registration period for youth leagues.
  • Ensure that league regulations are implemented and enforced.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Providing weekly updates to teams, clubs, and the SIFF Competition Department on the league’s table tally, weekly match schedules, and any other information relating to the general administration of the league.
  • Prepare and submit disciplinary reports to DC for decision-making.
  • Provide a competition report at the end of the Season to the board and SIFF Competition Department.

Knowledge, skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional human relations skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Microsoft soft skills
  • Be able to work during weekends.
  • Good organizational skills


  • Relevant qualification in Sport Event Management or related field from a recognized tertiary institution
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar field or a similar sports organization.

The SIFF Competition Department will review all expressions of interest and forward them to the SIFF Executive for the appointment.
