RECRUITMENT NOTICE

The Solomon Islands Electoral Office, in its preparation for the Biometric Voter Registration update for all constituencies throughout the country, is seeking to recruit Temporary Voter Registration Officials.

The number of positions for each province and SIEC Headquarters positions is as follows:

BVR/02/23	Assistant Officer Team Leader	Central Province	13	Must be a Solomon Islands citizen. Must be 18 years of age and above. Tertiary qualification in public administration, finance or any relevant field with good working experience Good understanding of the fundamentals of a free, fair, credible democratic election and strong leadership qualities. Broad knowledge and understanding of the Electoral System in the Solomon Islands. Applicants are not to contest the 2024 Provincial Assembly Election, Honiara City Council and National General Election. Good knowledge of the province/ Constituency or local community of application Must be neutral – no political affiliations with intending candidates or political groupings of any kind. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and experience. Work and Reside in constituencies or provincial headquarters. Must possess exemplary communication skills with a very high degree of confidence when dealing with voters, politicians, and the public. Previous experience in similar roles in voter registration or election events would be an advantage. Physically and medically fit and healthy.
