Ministry of Mines: Repair of MMERE Generator (150KVA) and other related works

Subject: Repair of MMERE Generator (150KVA) and other related works:

The Ministry of Mines, Energy & Rural Electrification (MMERE) is seeking expression of interest for quotations from qualified individuals and or groups to carryout repair and maintenance works on the Ministry’s 150 KVA Genset.

Those making submissions for an expression of interest must be a registered entity (whether as an individual or group) and more especially must have a current government TIN (tax identification number) from the Inland Revenue/ Ministry of Finance& Treasury.

The nature of the works to be done includes;

1. The need to replace the 2 x N70/ N100 batteries for the standby generator;
2.  Re-program the generator controller to synchronize with the automatic transfer switch;
3. Supply and install a new automatic transfer switch PC Board (card) if failed;
4. Remove cables in the automatic transfer switch that are not wired correctly and rework the wiring as per original wiring diagram;
5. Carryout complete service maintenance including filters, engine oil, radiator coolants as needed to be replaced;
6. Replace automatic voltage regulator;
7. The standby generator will need to undergo a fueling and maintenance test run, including connecting the Ministry electrical and lighting systems and commission the work.

Apart from other important details in your submission, include in your expression information such as duration of the works to be done, your quotation of the work to be done, TIN certificate, etc,

Do note that the Ministry will NOT be accepting any variable payments when you’re offered the job. It will be strictly as per the bid quotation only.
