Professional Consultancy Service
The Ensuring Resilient Ecosystems and Representative Protected Areas in the Solomon Islands (EREPA) Project, which is under the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology, is funded by the Global Environment Facility Cycle 6 (GEF 6) and implemented by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
EREPA Project is advertising the following individual consultants for suitably qualified candidates as follows:
Web Designer and Trainer Specialist;
Business Plan Development Consultant;
Legal Drafting Consultant;
Micro-Finance System Consultant.
The tenderer shall complete the tender document prescribed for the respective consultant position otherwise, the application shall not be considered.
Deadline of application submission: Friday, 16th May 2025, 4:30 pm local time (GMT +11)
All tenders should be addressed to the National Project Coordinator, EREPA Project PMU Office, Advance Technology Limited Building, Level 1, MECDM Headquarters, Point Cruz, Solomon Islands.

Tenderers For the Web Designer and Trainer Specialist Post:
The candidate shall have a proven degree qualification in ICT studies, website design, and web-based data management from a recognised university with at least five years of experience in ICT-related work, including website design,web-based management systems, data management, and ICT training.

Tenderers for the Legal Drafting Consultant Post:
The candidate must have a proven degree in legal studies, with experience in law relating to environmental management and development, environmental science, or a related area from a recognized university with at least five experience in legal drafting and facilitating consultations, negotiation, and advocacy with a focus on laws in the Solomon Islands.
An advanced degree in any of these areas and regional experience are desirable and useful.

Tenderers for Business Plan Development Consultant Post:
The candidate shall have a proven degree qualification in business studies, management, community development, or a related area from a recognized university with at least five years of experience in developing business plans for protected areas, community-based conservation, or community development plans, with business and financial trainings across different provinces in Solomon Islands.
An advanced degree in any of these areas and a strong community-based experience are desirable.

Tenderers for the Micro-Finance System Consultant Post:
The candidate must have a proven degree in business studies, management, community development, or a related area from a recognized university with at least five years of experience in developing community-based micro-financing system systems and facilitating consultations and financial literacy training across different provinces in Solomon Islands.
An advanced degree in any of these areas and a strong community-based experience are desirable.

Duration: 60 days (spread over 6 months)
Expected start date: 2 June 2025
Expected end date: 30 November 2025
