JOB VACANCY NOTICE

SolTuna Limited is seeking capable and responsible person to join our Quality Control Department in Noro, Western Province.

Position: Network system Administrator

Reports to: IT Manager

Primary Objectives: In this role, you will be primarily responsible in providing technical support and maintaining the operational integrity of the company’s internal and external network activities. Ensure operating system integrity is maintained so that the company is able to implement its work programs.

Responsibilities & Duties

•Present yourself in a positive frame of mind each day, observing the highest standards of personal grooming and hygiene and practice the four customer service skills with all your external and internal customers.

•Comply with all working regulations and company policies.

•Collaborate and assists the IT Manager in the control and management of the remote internate services for management housing and guesthouse

•Direct and coordinate LAN/WAN activities including assisting in the design, installation and support of network and computer systems.

•Conduct regular performance monitoring and analysis of LAN/WAN traffic to identify and resolve potential problems.

•Liaise with internet Service Providers and contractors in maintaining reliable internet services.

•Collaborate and assists the IT Manager in the management of company cloud – based solution such as email, anti-virus and offsite backups. This might require collaboration with the IT Technical Support Team from Tri-Marine.

Qualification

•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT Management, Computer Engineering or equivalent

•At least 5 year’s experience as network and system administrator

Housing / Accommodation

•Currently no accommodation is provided however, a housing allowance of 20% of basic salary is paid on fortnightly basis
