Request for Tenders – Geotechnical Site Investigations, Noro Port, Western Province

Subcontract: SIIP/09/C2

The Solomon Islands Infrastructure Program (SIIP) is an Australian partnership with the Solomon Islands Government, which aims to improve the quality, accessibility, sustainability and inclusivity of economic infrastructure in the Solomon Islands.

Cardno Emerging Markets (Australia) Pty Ltd (Cardno), a DT Global company, is implementing the Program on behalf of the Australian Government.

The Program has agreed to assist the Solomon Islands Port Authority to improve the existing port facilities at Noro Port, Western Province.

Cardno are now calling for tenders from suitably qualified and experienced firms to carry out geotechnical site investigation works at Noro.

This tender process is open to firms that meet the criteria detailed in the tender documentation. Previous experience with implementing land-based and marine core drilling operations to a maximum depth of 60m below sea-bed level, and UXO survey and clearing, in similar locations in Pacific islands, will be required.

Interested firms are requested to register at tenders@siip.com.sb for a copy of the tender documentation. There is no fee for these documents.

Tender submissions should be emailed to tenders@siip.com.sb by 5.00pm (Honiara time) on Monday 29th August 2022.

Cardno will not accept submissions that are late.
