Chief Executive Officer – Tina Core Land Company (TCLC)

TCLC is a newly established company, incorporated in 2019, and owned by the Solomon Islands Government. Shares are equally shared between Tina Hydro Project Site Core tribes and the SIG.

TCLC is responsible for investment activities to ensure the sustainable economic benefits to the shareholders.

With the aim of kick starting the investment process, TCLC is urgently looking to recruit a CEO on a one (1) year contract renewable on performance.CEO will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, financial and operational leadership for the company and will closely coordinate and work with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders (SIG, Tina hydropower Ltd, etc.). 

Primary Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

1. Plan, develop, implement and direct the organization’s operational and financial function and performance.
2. Provide strategic input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; specifically relating to the evaluation of potential investments opportunities.
3. To ensure establishment of the Company, the role will initially include all administrative and logistical responsibilities and to recruit a team of employees to fill key positions required for the establishment of the company.

 Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business/ Engineering field or related field and/or an MBA from any preferred University
2. 8-15 years of industry experience.
3. Ability to train, develop and manage teams
4. Experience in starting new organization/initiative showing evidence of organization/departmental growth
