Ministry of Mines : Tender For Rural Electrification for Schools and Communities thru hybrid solar PV off -Grid Power system

PUBLIC TENDERNOTICE

Name of Project: RURAL ELECTRIFICATION FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES THRU HYBRID SOLAR PV OFF-GRID POWER SYSTEM.

The SPIRES Project within the Energy Division, Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification invites interested eligible Tenderers to submit tenders for the Supply of;

Batteries and Balance of System (BOS)

Full details of the above items are provided in the Technical Specifications and Schedule of Requirements in the BID document.

These items are to be procured and delivered to SPIRES Project Office, Eagle street, Lengakiki as the delivery destination.

Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2013 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual 2013, and is open to all eligible Tenderers.

To be eligible, the tenderer must at least meet the minimal eligibility requirements as below, the tenderer must at least meet the minimal eligibility requirement as below:

-Currently have an active registration with the company haus

– Active bank account with any of the commercial banks in the SI

-HCC or Provincial Business Licenses

-Have TIN with IRD and a compliant tax payer

Interested eligible Tenderer may obtain further information from the SPIRES Project Office within Energy Division, Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification (MMERE) at Eagle Street, Lengakiki.

A non-refundable fee of $200.00 will be charged for the BOQ and Bid Documents.

Completed Bid/Tenders, must be delivered to the address below at or before 2 pm, Monday 12th September 2022.

Tenders will be opened straight after the closing time at2:30 pm at the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification (MMERE) Conference room at Eagle street Lengakiki.
