The Land Board has determined that land is available for all allocation, by a public tender process over lot 1460/IX/H in Forest Valley, Honiara, with an area of 445 square meters. The Perpetual Estate is owned by the Commissioner of Lands with no encumbrances. The land is undeveloped and unoccupied. The parcel is situated four blocks from the main Tasahe B road and has access to water and electricity.
Tenders are hereby invited for 75- year Fixed Term Estate over this land. There is no set or minimum Premium price for the land and annual land rent will be set as 1 per cent of the unimproved capital value of the land, which is yet to be determined.
There is no application form, but tenders must include:
A covering letter including contact details of the tenderer and the Premium price offered to purchase the Fixed Term Estate:
Supporting evidence of the tenderer’s financial capacity to purchase and develop the land and any other supporting information; and
A development plan for the area, showing details of how the tenderer intends to develop the land if he/she is the successful bidder.
Please note, the Land Board reserves the right to;
Reject any tender even if it is the highest tenderer;
Negotiate with any tenderer and exclude other tenderers;
Re-advertise for tenders;
Refuse giving any reason for declining or rejecting any tender; and
Extend the closing time and date for submission of tenders.
All tenders must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelop clearly marked “Honiara Land Tender 2021-1” by 4 pm on Monday 29th March 2021 and addressed to;
