The Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified contractors for the following Road Works Malaita Province, categorized under Major Works:

LOTS Major Works
LOT 1	Periodic Maintenance of Busurata Road (from Busurata Road Junction Ch00+000.0 to Busurata Road End Ch15+000.00) Central Malaita, Malaita Province.
LOT 2	Tar Sealing of 5km Road (from Kwaibala to Oibola Junction) South Road, Malaita Province.
LOT 3	North East Malaita Road Rehab & Extension Works (from Fataleka to Subobona), Malaita Province

 

Tendering Information:

Bidding: Tenderers are invited to bid for one or any combination of the three (3) Lots listed above.

Evaluation and Award: Evaluation and award of contracts will be conducted on a Lot-by-Lot basis.

Submission Requirements: Tenderers must submit a separate sealed envelope for each Lot they wish to bid on. Each envelope must be clearly labeled with the corresponding Lot number and description (e.g., “Tender for Lot 1: Periodic Maintenance…”).

Funding:

This project is jointly funded by the Solomon Islands Government (SIG), National Transport Fund (NTF), and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Government (DFAT).

Project Timelines:

Expected start date on site: Mid-July 2025

Expected completion dates: January 2026 and Mid-July 2026

(Specific completion dates for each Lot will be detailed in the Tender Documents.)

Cost of Documents: A non-refundable fee of SBD$ 200.00 is required for the Tender Documents.

Payment Method: Payment can be made by Cash or Banker’s Draft.

Payment Locations: Cashier’s Office, Ministry of Finance and Treasury or MID’s Head Office cashier.

Pre-Tender Meeting: The pre-tender meeting will commence at 10:00 am on Tuesday 24th June 2025 at MIDLeaf Hut

Submission of Tenders: All Tenders, prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, must be delivered to the following address:

Delivery Location: Counter Number 8, Ministry of Finance andTreasury, Mendana Avenue, Honiara, Solomon Islands

Submission Deadline: 2:00 PM on Thursday, 17th July 2025.

Tender Opening: Tenders will be opened promptly after the submission deadline in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
