The Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified contractors for the following road and Drainage Works in Honiara and Malaita Province, categorized under Major Works (Lot 1) and Simplified Works (Lot 2):

LOT 1 Major Works
LOT 1-A		Specific Maintenance on the sealed section from the MID Headquarters to the HCC Roundabout and Drainage Works
LOT 1-B		Lekamboli Road Upgrade (Chief Haus to ITA Hardware back road)
LOT 1-C		Extension of Road Rehabilitation Works from where TTC left to Hauhui, South Road, Malaita Province
LOT 2 Simplified Works
LOT 2-A	Chinatown Road drainage improvement works
LOT 2-B	Tasahe, Ngossi Valley Road

Tendering Information:

Bidding: Tenderers are invited to bid for one or any combination of the five (5) Lots listed above.

Evaluation and Award: Evaluation and award of contracts will be conducted on a Lot-by-Lot basis.

Submission Requirements: Tenderers must submit a separate sealed envelope for each Lot they wish to bid on. Each envelope must be clearly labeled with the corresponding Lot number and description (e.g., “Tender for Lot 1-A: Specific Maintenance…”).

Funding:

This project is jointly funded by the Solomon Islands Government (SIG), National Transport Fund (NTF), and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Government (DFAT).

Project Timelines:

Expected start date on site: 1st July 2025

Expected completion dates: 31st December 2025 and 1st July 2026

(Specific completion dates for each Lot will be detailed in the Tender Documents.)

Cost of Documents: A non-refundable fee of SBD$ 200.00 is required for the Tender Documents.

Payment Method: Payment can be made by Cash or Banker’s Draft.

Payment Locations: Cashier’s Office, Ministry of Finance and Treasury or MID’s Head Office cashier.

Submission of Tenders: All Tenders, prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, must be delivered to the following address:

Delivery Location: Counter Number 8, Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Mendana Avenue, Honiara, Solomon Islands

Submission Deadline: 2:00 PM on Thursday, 22nd May 2025.

Tender Opening: Tenders will be opened promptly after the submission deadline in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
