Ministry of Home Affairs wish to join others to convey its utmost sincere appreciation to the Democratic Coalition Government for Advancement (DCGA) for its continuous strategic and strong leadership during out trying times. Our government enables us to continue to prevail over the many challenges that adversely affects Government services, Business/private enterprises, SOEs and the entire economy. We highly commend our government’s leadership and direction throughout this period of uncertainty and that it continues to help us and ensure necessary services continue to be delivered to the citizens of this nation. This is a clear demonstration of strong commitment, dedication and unity during this challenging times.
We also extend our sincere acknowledgement to our founding fathers who worked tirelessly, and with perseverance, and confidently pursued for the gaining our independent Sovereignty as a nation – Solomon Islands on the 7th July 1978. It is through their wisdom that we enjoyed today and continue to commemorate this date 7th July each year.
Above all, we thank our God for his gracious love, care and protection, which are priceless and bestowed upon each one of us. He is a loving and merciful God and that he sustains our lives despite difficulties and setbacks in our lives.
We wish you all a happy 44th Independence Anniversary Celebration and let us stand united for a stronger and peaceful Solomon Islands.
