The office of the Business & Cooperative Division in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour & Immigration is implementing its business incubation program with a pilot partnership program with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Food and Agriculture Organisation, and is looking for a suitable candidate for the underlying position

Job Description and Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the program and working in collaboration with the Permanent Secretary of MCILI and the Director of BCD to develop annual work programs for the project and implement work activities according to the LoA executed with FAO through MAL. The project manager will also be responsible for reporting activities and the financial report of the project PS of the MCILI and the FAO project accountant’s office. The project Manager is also expected to coordinate all boot camp training programs and liaise with service providers to conduct business, financial, marketing, digital,l and technical skills programs for the selected agri business operators.

Who to report to

The project Manager will report directly to PS MCILI, Director BCD, and the FAO project office, MAL

Qualification & experience

Applicants must have a minimum qualification of a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, and Economics. Also looking for vast experience as a business trainer or advisor with skills for 6 years or more.

Salary / Benefits

The remuneration package will be equivalent to L11 on the Public Service Salary structure of $3,125 per fortnight on contract for the duration of the engagement
