MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

RENOVATION TO PUBLIC SERVICE QUARTER – Q1, AT TASAHE B.

[MTB C02/2022]

The Architecture and Building Management Services Division, MID shall fund this procurement from its budgetary allocation, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this allocation to payments under the Contract for RENOVATION TO PUBLIC SERVICE QUARTER – Q1, AT TASAHE B.

The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from eligible and qualified tenderers for RENOVATION TO PUBLIC SERVICE QUARTER – Q1, AT TASAHE B.

The delivery/construction period is 3 Months.

Tendering will be conducted through the SIG Standard Competitive Tendering Procedures, and is open to all Eligible tenderers as defined in the Tender Documents.

1.       Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from [Principle Architect, ABMS, MID Tel: 21141].

2.       Qualification requirements include:

A.      Bear SIG-registered company with CRN, TIN, and a bank account, and has been in the business of building construction since 2021;

B.      Have successfully completed at least one similar work of similar size with similar technical complexity in the last five years;

C.      Have at its disposal the use of the following key construction equipment/Tools: Electric Tools, Scaffoldings, 5kva Generator, Welding Machine, Small concrete mixer and a Two-ton Truck (minimum), for the work

D.      Have in its employ the following key construction personnel: A Qualified Construction Manager, a qualified Carpenter, A grade License Electrician, A qualified plumber and a joiner with at least 5 years experience in a similar type of work;

E.       Have earned an annual gross sale, in building construction, of at least above the total tender price, in any one year in the last five years;

F.       Show evidence in its 2016 financial statement of the availability of liquid assets, net of outstanding contractual commitments, of at least 20% of the total tender price; alternatively, must show evidence of access to a credit line with a reputable local bank to finance the contract; and J.

G.   Not have been blacklisted nor suspended by any SIG Ministry or Agency; it must have no record of poor or failure of performance in any of its previous contracts.”

A complete set of Tender Documents may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee [SBD $250.00].

The method of payment will be [Cash or Bank Cheque]. The Tender Documents will be [collected by the Interested Tenderer].

Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before [2 pm 11th August 2022].

Electronic tendering shall not be permitted.

Late tenders will be rejected.

Tenders will be opened physically in the presence of the tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in person or online at the address below at [2:30 pm on 11th August 2022].

All tenders [“shall”] be accompanied by a [“Tender-Securing Declaration”]

The Central Tender Board is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.

Failure to comply with the Tender Instructions may lead to disqualification of the tender.

Any attempt by a tender to influence the award of the tender in their favour will cause automatic disqualification and may lead to criminal proceedings.
