Rokera Provincial Secondary School Bursar & School Matron

Malaita Provincial Government through its successive development progress is keen to expand its services of keeping its Provincial Schools to suit current standards. Thus, the position of a new Bursar and Matron for ROKERA PSS is directly responsible for assisting ROKERA School Management in its daily student affairs.

These are permanent positions within the overall Malaita Provincial Government Organizational structure under the Education Division, these positions are also expected to uphold and role model the Public Service Values and Code of Conduct, including a high level of work attendance.

Position Overview:

The Bursar and Matron role will carry out duties that deals with student affairs and report directly to the School Board of Management, School Principal and the Education Division of Malaita Provincial Government.

To be a suitable candidate for the Job you must possess the following qualities

• Must Be COVID-19 Vaccinated (SIG No Jab no Job Policy).
• 2-3 years’ Experience in Similar job would be a bonus.
• Must be literate especially in basic reading and Writing.
• Able to work under little supervision.
• Must be outspoken and able to liaise well in a Multi-Cultural Environment.
• Must have a customer orientated personality
• Must work on Saturday s or possibly during odd hours
• A nonsmoker and betel-nut chewer
• Less than 40 years in age.
• Diploma Accounting or Degree in Business Management for Bursar Role
• Diploma Nurse or Certificate in Nursing for the Matron Role
