VACANCY NOTICE

The MAL Biosecurity Emergency Coordinating Center (BECC) office is seeking to recruit a suitable qualified person to fill the current vacant position of Procurement/Budget/Finance Officer at the BECC Office.

This Position is for twelve months assignment period.

If you are keen to take on the challenge and play in supporting the people of the Solomon Islands in combating the infestation of the Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle and ensuring our coconuts and other palms are not destroyed, then this is the job for you.

Key Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in business or financial discipline.
• Previous experience in procurement is preferred and/or constructing and tracking expenditures against approved budgets and procedures.
• Must be numerate, familiar with spreadsheets and have an eye for details.
• Knowledge of SIG procurement processes is desirable and would be an advantage.
• Must be fully vaccinated as per SIG requirements
• Must be a Team player

This position requires a clean police record, flexibility in work hours, and the ability to work as a member of a dedicated team.
