Consultancy Title: Development Planning Specialist (1)

Project Name: Provincial Governance Strengthening Programme (PGSP)

Duty Station: Honiara, Solomon Islands

Duration of the Contract:

• Contract period: 1st May 2024 – 20th October 2024.
• Number of working days: 75 working days (based on 5 days a week) of which 5 days will be for presentations and discussions at the PFGCC and JOC wherever they are held.
• Commencement date: 1st May 2024

Objectives of the assignment:

• Determine which Provincial Government complies with the eight minimum qualifying conditions for access to funds under the PCDF grant scheme, in an objective, neutral, professional, and timely manner.
• Undertake the scoring of the performance assessment, which will influence the level of allocations to Provincial Governments complying with the minimum conditions.
• Provide information to the Provincial Governments, through the assessment, on areas in need of future improvements and create awareness on the Technical Assistance support required.
