Name of Project: BIO- SECURITY LABORATORY BUILDNG WORK – HENDERSON

The Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the Construction of Works for the BIO-SECURITY LABORATORY BUILDING WORK – HENDERSON.

 Full details are provided in the attached Technical Specifications, Schedule of Activities and Drawings.

Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual 2022 and is open to all eligible Tenderer.

The contract will be awarded the lowest responsive evaluated tender.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as a minimum, supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.

• Be duly registered business under SIG Law
•  Have a Tax Identification Number (TIN) issued by Inland Revenue
•  Maintain a bank account with any bank operating in Solomon Islands and
•  Not be subjected to any blacklisting or restrictions to eligibility as per tender instruction to tenderers
•  Must provide proof of having completed works of magnitude and complexity similar to the one proposed.
•  Must have adequate equipment and key personnel for the specified types of works.
•  Must provide proof of Sound financial standing and [or adequate access to credit line(s) for the project.
• Able to provide or acquire (by own, lease, hire, etc.) the essential equipment required to complete the repairs and maintenance.
• Must meet further criteria set in the bid documents.

Box G13, Honiara, SI from 8:00am to 4:30pm or on the website: www.gov.sb.

A complete set of Tender documents in English may be purchase by interested Tenderer at the Ministry of Finance & Treasury cashier for the non-refundable fee of $150-00 per tender.

The Tender document scan be collected at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and copy of the receipt must be shown as proof of payments.

Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00pm, Thursday 12th September 2024.

Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission.

Late or incomplete Tenders will be rejected.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below
