Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following vacant positions in the Ministry of Mines, Energy & Rural Electrification.

SMDTAP – 1/2024	Project Manager – Honiara	Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (project management, business, or other field relevant to this assignment. Oral and written language skills in Solomon Islands Pijin Experience with donor-funded projects, especially involving international financial institutions such as the World Bank. Experience with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and processes of government. Relevant post-graduate qualifications.
SMDTAP – 2/2024	Finance Officer – Honiara	University degree in accountancy, finance, or similar qualification. Experience with donor-funded projects, especially projects involving international financial institutions such as the World Bank. Oral and written Solomon Islands Pijin language skills. Relevant post graduate accounting or professional qualifications (e.g. CPA). Membership of a relevant professional organization
SMDTAP – 3/2024	Procurement Officer – Honiara	University degree in procurement, law, finance, business administration, project management, or similar relevant qualification or equivalent experience. At least 3 years’ experience with donor-funded projects, especially involving international financial institutions such as the World Bank. Oral and written Solomon Islands Pijin language skills. Relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications. Membership of a relevant professional organization.
SMDTAP – 4/2024	Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Honiara	University degree in public administration, or other relevant qualification. Oral and written language skills in Solomon Islands Pijin. Experience with donor-funded projects, especially involving international financial institutions such as the World Bank. Experience with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and processes of government. Relevant post-graduate qualifications.
SMDTAP – 5/2024	Safeguards and Stakeholder Engagement Officer – Honiara	Relevant degree in environmental assessment, social management, or similar equivalent qualification. Experience with donor-funded projects, especially projects involving international financial institutions such as the World Bank. Oral and written Solomon Islands Pijin language skills. Relevant post graduate qualifications. Membership of a relevant professional organization
