The Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified contractors for the Maintenance of Kaevanga to Alualu Road Project Phase 2.

Tendering Information:

Bidding: Tenderers are invited to bid for the Maintenance of Kaevanga to Alualu Road Project Phase 2

Evaluation and Award: Evaluation and award of contracts will be done by Lowest Cost Evaluation Method, and The Award is using the Lowest Evaluated Substantially Responsive Tender

Submission Requirements: Tenderers must submit an envelope must be clearly labelled with the corresponding Name and Contract number.

Funding:
This project is funded by the Solomon Islands Government (SIG).

Project Timelines:
Expected start date on site: Mid-April 2026
Expected completion dates: Mid-September 2026
(Specific completion dates for each Lot will be detailed in the Tender Documents.)

Cost of Documents: A non-refundable fee of SBD$200.00 is required for the Tender Documents.

Payment Method: Payment can be made by Cash orBanker’s Draft.

Payment Locations: Cashier’s Office, Ministry of Finance and Treasury or MID’s Head Office cashier.

Pre-Tender Meeting: The pre-tender meeting will commence at 10:00 am on Monday, 16th  March 2026 at MIDTIMS Conference Room.

Submission of Tenders: All Tenders, prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, must be delivered to the following address:

Delivery Location: Counter Number 8, Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Mendana Avenue, Honiara, Solomon Islands

Submission Deadline: 2:00 PM on Thursday, 26th March 2026.

Tender Opening: Tenders will be opened promptly after the submission deadline in public and in the presence of Tenderers’representatives who choose to attend.
