TENDER NOTICE

Customs Tender 30/2023

Invitation to Tender for seized and time up goods.

Customs and Excise Division Invites Tenders for the purchase of various goods as set out below and marked “Customs Tender September 2023.”

Goods to be tendered.

Lots 1 – 34 comprise of electrical tools, mobile phones, mobile power bank, kitchenware, CCTV cameras, window shield side frame, container seals, bumpers, tyres, secateurs, grove hinge, plastic bags, ceramic sink, cotton rope, FSL light bulb + bulb frame, cash register system machine and a Vehicle (ALLION) which are located at Customs Kings Warehouse 1, Point Cruz.

Lots 34 – 65 consist of basketballs, used futsal balls, kids rubber balls, plastics laundry tray, plastic storage tray, air visual outdoor, camera stands, air conditioning compressor + safety eye wear, baby-walkers, tyres, expandent, welding electrode, dart set, archery set, squatting pan, communication cable, plywood, fog machine, surface mounted base, facemasks, oil filters, phone covers + temper screens, mobile phones and a control box (genset) which are located at Kings warehouse 2, Henderson.

Inspection of goods is on Fridays commencing on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th September 2023 from 9.00 am to 12 noon.

All Lots are sold in their current conditions.

Bidders are advised to inspect the goods carefully before submitting any bid.

Tenders are to be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed to:

Conditions of Tender

The tender will close on October the 30 th 2023 at 4pm. No late tenders will be accepted.

At the close of the Tender period, the Customs Tender Committee will convene, open the tenders, check for completeness and sort into highest to lowest tender. Tenders that do not meet the conditions of the tender will not be considered. The decision of the Comptroller of Customs & Excise will be final.

Winning tenders approved by the Comptroller will be notified. Goods must be paid in full within five (5) days of notification.

If the goods are not paid for, then the next bidder in order will be offered the goods, with the same conditions of settlement.

The time limits for removal of the Tendered items shall be seven (7) working days after payment of the items.
