Name of Project: Completion of 1 x new standard primary classroom at Ngonihau PS
The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development(MEHRD) invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the MEHRD Capital Works Project 2024, Completion of 1 x new standard primary classroom at Ngonihau PS, Makira Province.
Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2010, Public Financial Management (Procurement) Regulations 2021and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual 2022, and is open to all eligible Tenderers.
The contract will be awarded the lowest responsive evaluated tender.
The tenderer is required to provide:
(a) Copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status, place of registration, and principal place of business of the Tenderer; written power of attorney of the signatory of the Tender to commit the Tenderer;
(b) Total monetary value of construction works performed for each of the last five years;
(c) Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and details of work under way or contractually committed; and Purchasers who may be contacted for further information on those contracts;
(d) Major items of construction equipment proposed to carry out the Contract;
(e) Qualifications and experience of key site management and technical personnel proposed for the Contract;
(f) Reports on the financial standing of the Tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the past three years;
(g) Evidence of adequacy of working capital for this Contract (access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources);
(h) Authority to seek references from the Tenderer’s bankers and previous works
(i) Information regarding any litigation, current or during the last three years, in which the Tenderer was/is involved, the parties concerned, and the disputed amounts; and awards;
(j) Evidence of payment of insurance policies as outlined in the Contract Form

Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of ITT, must be delivered to the address below at or before 2pm 7th November 2024 Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission.
Late or incomplete Tenders will be rejected.
