Name of Project: Maintenances of 14 Provincial Leased Airports around Solomon Islands

The Ministry of Communication and Aviation invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the Construction of Works for the Maintenances of 14 Provincial Leased Airports around Solomon Islands.

Full details are provided in the attached Technical Specifications, Schedule of Activities and Drawings.

Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual and is open to all eligible Tenderer.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive evaluated tender.

Interested eligible Tenderer may obtain further information from Director, Civil Aviation Policy Division, Ministry of Communication and Aviation; Fletcher Fulairara, FFulairara@mca.gov.sb and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Ministry of Communication and Aviation or on the website: www.mca.gov.sb or sig-newsrelease@sig.gov.sb

A complete set of Tender documents in English may be obtained by interested Tenderer on the submission of a personal or written application to Ministry of Communication and Aviation.

A non-refundable fee of $150.00 shall be paid at MOFT cashier and a copy of the receipt must be shown as proof of payments before the tender document can be issued.

Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be delivered to Ministry of Finance and Treasury at or before 9th April at 2pm. 

Tenders shall be valid for a period of ____45____  days after the deadline of Tender submission. Late or incomplete Tenders will be rejected.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below Ministry of Finance and Treasury at 9th   April at 2pm.
