Expressions of Interest for Safeguard Consultant

For the implementation of the Solomon Islands National Broadband Infrastructure project (SINBIP), the Communication Division of the Ministry of Communication and Aviation (MCA) is seeking interested capable safeguard professional to perform the following services:

Ensure compliance of all the all-sub-project to safeguard procedure,

Undertake community consultation and prepare poverty and social assessment reports, resettlement plans as part of feasibility study,

Assist MCA technical staff in ensuring that social safeguard measures under the project complies with national safeguard requirements, and

Incorporate social, gender and environmental requirements into the design and execution of work.

In reference to the required service, MCA now invites interested qualified safeguard consultants to submit their expression of interest to MCA.

Interested companies or individuals are hereby requested to provide:

Relevant qualification, proof of experience of similar service(s) provided and Reference letters.

The engagement will be for 12 months and will base at the communication division office at Honiara International Airport.

Expressions of interest must be addressed and delivered by July 14 th 2023 4:30 pm:

Interested companies or individuals must submit their Expressions of Interest in a sealed envelope containing relevant information in the EOI by no later than 4:30pm 14th, July 2023 at the Ministry of Communication and Aviation Quarter.

Late submissions will not be considered.
