CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) IN LABOUR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING

The national Labour Apprenticeship Training program under this Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour and Immigration (MCLI) is inviting interested applicants for its four years Apprenticeship training program at Solomon Islands National University (SINU), Faculty of science and Technology.

The training is expected to start in semester two of 2024 for the occupational trades in Building and Construction, Electrical, Plumbing and Allied trades, Light Motor Vehicle Mechanic and Heavy Vehicle & Plant Mechanic and Heavy vehicle & Plant Mechanic.

Twenty (20) successful applicants in each of the five above mentioned trades will be enrolled and support with their tuition and related fees at SINU.

Interested applicants should meet the following requirements

• 18 years and above (male or female)

• Minimum completion of Form five secondary education with SISC & trans

• Prior completion of RTC or VTC training with labour NTTT Certification with the above two requirements.

• At least two years in the industry and have completed Form 5secondary education.
