EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Call for Application: Commercial Agriculture Development Program( July – November 2025)

Background

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAL) invites expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible farmers, agribusinesses, and agriculture cooperatives to apply for financial and technical support under the Commercial Agriculture Development Program (CADP).

The program responds directly to the Government National Unity Taskforce (GNUT) policy directives mandating MAL to deliver on strategic thematic activities in the commercial agriculture sector.

The CADP will run over an 5-month period (July – November 2025) and is aligned with Policy 8.2.1(c): Boost Commercial Agriculture Growth.

The program offers financial incentives, technical assistance, and infrastructure support to strengthen market access, promote sustainable production, and improve value chain development for commercially viable agriculture sectors.

Eligible Project Areas

Applicants may seek support for projects related to the following areas:

1. Cassava cold storage facility & equipment
2. Taro storage facility and processing
3. Hydroponic farming
4. Kava processing and export
5. Chocolate production
6. Butter making equipment
7. Cassava production for the domestic market
8. Ginger, breadfruit, and cassava value-adding
9. Livestock feed production and processing

Application and Submission Process

All interested applicants can obtain the application form and Guidelines from Provincial Agriculture Offices or the MAL HQ Office (Lee Kwok Kuen Building, Honiara).

Deadline for Applications: 18 July 2025
Late submissions will not be considered.
