Invitation to Tender for seized and time up goods

Customs and Excise Division Invites Tenders for the purchase of various goods as set out below and marked “Customs Tender December 2025”

  1. Goods to be tendered

Lots 1 – 38 comprise of Fuel filter, Mobile phones(button phones), kitchen wares(pots & frying pans), baby stroller &toner, Bulk coin bags, new household goods(Toys, baby clothes), (xmas gift toys), (kids books, 4ft lotto square pop-up goals and futsal balls, epiglues, Treadmill equipment, 8 pcs pus x 295/35 tyres, Solar cables (assorted),Assorted electrical machineries parts, Cosmetic Lamp stand, Cabinet, used second hand clothes, 1 x 7 drawer roller cabinet & 1 x 8 drawer roller cabinet, energy storage battery, Toyota caldina van and Yamaha ray boat and Yamaha40HP engine which are located at Customs Kings Warehouse 2 (KWH2), Henderson.

Inspection of goods is on Friday on the 05th, Monday 08th, Tuesday 09th, Wednesday 10th, Thursday 11th of December 2025from 9.00 am to 12 noon.

All Lots are sold in their current conditions. Bidders are advised to inspect the goods carefully before submitting any bid.

Tenders are to be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed to:

Comptroller of Customs & Excise
Customs Headquarters, Point Cruz.

Conditions of Tender

The tender will close on Monday December the 22nd 2025 at 4pm. No late tenders will be accepted.

At the close of the Tender period, the Customs Tender Committee will convene, open the tenders, check for completeness and sort into highest to lowest tender. Tenders that do not meet the conditions of the tender will not be considered. The decision of the Comptroller of Customs & Excise will be final.

Winning tenders approved by the Comptroller will be notified. Goods must be paid in full within five (5) days of notification. If the goods are not paid for, then the next bidder in order will be offered the goods, with the same conditions of settlement.

The time limits for removal of the Tendered items shall be seven (7) working days after payment of the items
