Ministry of Mines : RURAL ELECTRIFICATION FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH HYBRID SOLAR PV OFF-GRID POWER SYSTEM

Name of Project: RURAL ELECTRIFICATION FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH HYBRID SOLAR PV OFF-GRID POWER SYSTEM.

The Energy Division of the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification, with the SPIRES office, invites interested eligible Tenderers to submit tenders for the Supply of the following;

• Lot 1. Solar PV Off-Grid System of 40 kW for Rokera PSS
• Lot 2. Solar PV Off-Grid System of 30 KW for Hunanawa Community and Community High School

Full details of the two Lots above are provided in the Technical Specifications and Schedule of Requirements in the BID   documents.

Bids are to be separated for each of the two Lots.

Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2013 and the  Procurement and Contract Administration Manual, and is open to all eligible Tenderers.

 To be eligible, the tenderer must at least meet the minimal eligibility requirement as below:

• Currently have active registration with the company Haus

• Active bank account with any of the commercial banks in the SI

• Have TIN with IRD and be a compliant taxpayer

Interested eligible Tenderer may obtain further information and BID documents from the SPIRES Project Office, Energy Division   within the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification (MMERE) at Eagle Street, Lengakiki.

A non-refundable fee of $200.00 will be charged for all BOQ and Bid Documents
