INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST.

Contract Name: REVIEWING & FORMULATING THE MMERE STAFF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT PLANNING GUIDE CONSULTANCY.

The Ministry of Mines ,Energy and Rural Electrification (MMERE) is mandated to deliver in the areas of Mining ,Energy ,Geology ,Petroleum and Water Resource Development .As an institution mandated to deliver and advise government on the above listed areas ,it is inevitable that its human resources must be kept abreast with new and applicable knowledge’s and experiences through ongoing short and long term trainings.

The Ministries Current stuff Training & Development Planning Guide has expired and needed to be revised in order for the ministry’s human capital resources to keep up with its human resources training and development.

The MMERE therefore, is seeking interested institutions, firms and or individual consultants to carry out a review and formulation of its successor Staff Training & Development Planning Guide.

The review and formulation process for the successor staff training & development planning guide must include the following activities;

i.Assess the outdate staff development planning guide on what has and what has not been achieved in terms of the recommended trainings staff development therein,

ii.Make presentations of the findings to each of the technical divisions and MMERE ,

iii.Consult on the various divisions on their next cycle of human resources training and development,

iv.Formulate the new MMERE Staff Training & Development Planning Guide.

Your expression of interest submissions should include among other important information;

i.Proven experiences of doing a similar task elsewhere. Include in your submission a brief explanation of what you will do to deliver the task (ie. Review & formulate the successor staff training & development planning guide ),

ii.Your consultancy rate per day and how long it would take you to deliver the consultancy job,

iii.Any other relevant information such as registrations, TIN, etc, etc

Outputs:

i.. An assessment and presentation of the achievement & shortfalls of the previous staff development and planning guide,

ii.A new MMERE staff training & development planning guide.
