CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Survey is seeking expressions of interest from individuals to be members of the Valuers Board.

The following professions are sought, and their membership will be for a term of 3 years.

I. A Quantity Surveyor

II. A Legal Practitioner

The Valuer’s Board is responsible for overseeing the registration & practice of Valuers in accordance with the Valuers Act. The assessment process of submitted EOIs will be through this advertisement.

Expression of interest should be in writing and clearly stating the name, address, and contact of the applicant, and a short statement asserting the credentials of the applicant with particulars relevant to the person’s experience, qualification, and knowledge in relation to the governance and registration of valuers’ practice.

Interested applicants may obtain further information at the address below during official hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays.

Please note:

All documents submitted as part of the application will remain the property of the Solomon Islands Government and will not be returned to applicants.

If you email your application, you will still have to post or hand-deliver certified copies of your qualifications to the Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Survey.

MEDICAL REPORT AND POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE.

You do not have to provide a Medical Report and Police Clearance certificates unless you are asked to do so.

CLOSING DATE

Expression of interest must be submitted to the Valuation Unit, Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey by the close of business on  12/09/2025.
