The Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening joins you in commemorating the anniversary of the establishment of Makira Ulawa Province on 03rd August 1983.

As the minister responsible for provincial governments, I congratulate the Makira Ulawa Provincial Premier, Hon. Stanley Siapu MPA, and your executive; all members of the Makira Ulawa Provincial Assembly; Speaker Hon. Mathew Taro, the administration, and the good people of Makira Ulawa Provinceon this very important occasion of your 42nd Second Appointed Day Anniversary celebration on 03rd August 2025, to be observed on 04th August.
