Cheerful, blessed and Holy Easter celebrations, Jesus Christ is risen! Hallelujah!
As we celebrate this Holy Season as further Christian calendars, let us reflect and ponder in deep meditation to fully understand what Easter means to us.
Easter is a season where all Christians throughout the world, including Solomon Islands, come together to celebrate the victory that Jesus Christs, the Son of God, did for all mankind. The day symbolises Christ’s power over sin and death and it also confirms to us that day is an everlasting reward he prepared for us, and that is everlasting life.
However, the Journey to cross by our Lord is not an easy road that any ordinary person can go through. Despite of his divine status in the heavenly realm, he accepted and obeyed his Father’s instructions and descended to the earth in human likeness. On his way to the Cross, he was betrayed by his disciples, was spot on, whipped, tested, stripped, speared, nailed and hanged on the cross for our iniquities. Despite all the challenges that we faceup with, either individually, as a nation, but in the power of his resurrection definite hope that is truly serving a true and living God.
As we celebrate, let us embrace each other as men should brothers be, make nations see.
God bless you all and God bless Solomon Islands from shore to shore.
