Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster: INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. The Climate Change Division of the Ministry Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology invites interested eligible Tenderers to submit Tender for Polomuhu Community High School Solar PV System towards the below activity.

Tender:

1. MTB C-02/24: Supply of Electrical Equipment & Battery House
2. MTB C-03/24: Supply of Solar PV Power
3. Equipment and Material
4. Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual and is open to all eligible Tenderers.

Tender will be assessed against but not limited to the following criteria:

Receipt of tender fee from MOFT

Company Registration

Compliance to SIG finance regulations – IRD

Realistic &competitive tender pricing

Delivery of work schedule

Proof of bank guarantee –to facilitate advance payment of 20% of the tender pricing

Conforming to material& equipment specifications

All necessary criteria are stated in the ITT part 5.5 & 6.1 as well as in the special conditions of the contract.

Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be addressed to the following:

 At or before 2.00 PM on Friday 28th June 2024.

Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the deadline of Tender submission. Late or incomplete Tenders will be rejected.

Tender Envelope is to be marked with the “Tender Number “and the “Tenderer’s Name “on the outside of the envelope and Tenderers must ensure they fill in the “Lodgment Register” upon submission of the Tender.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the MECDMHQ, Advanced Building shortly after the due time at 2.00 PM on Friday 28th of June 2024.

The Ministerial Tender Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the Tenders.
