VACANCY NOTICE FOR SIFF TDS MANAGER

The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of TDS Manager.

Reporting to the SIFF TDS Manager and Technical Director, the position will play a major role in overseeing the welfare, health, safety and academic and football progress of the academy players.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Lead the SIFF TDS team to develop the annual plan and the 4-year player development plan and programme for the TDS
• Lead the SIFF TDS team to develop the annual budget and the 4-year player development budget and programme for the TDS
• Manage and monitor the SIFF TDS team to deliver the annual plan and programme for the TDS and looking the staff under the programme
• Procuring training and other resources for the programme as well as maintaining a record of their disbursement
• Working with FIFA and OFC to coordinate on additional resources and support for the programme

Reporting Responsibilities:

• Providing monthly reports to the Technical Director and to the FIFA TDS consultant as required
• Preparing the annual report of the TDS programme

Compliance Responsibilities:

• Completing FIFA and OFC mandated child protection and safeguarding training and that all staff complete this training.
• Ensuring that all players welfare and care action plans are in place.
• Ensuring all expenditure by the SIFF TDS programme is executed in accordance with the requirements of the FIFA, OFC and SIFF regulations and policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Exceptional human relations skills
• Good communication skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft productivity software
• Good organizational skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum degree in sports education or related field from a recognized tertiary institution
• Successfully pass the FIFA Guidance Training within 2 weeks of employment
• At least 4-years’ experience working in a similar field or in a similar organization as SIFF
